Elections for new Shurah Body and Shurah Council (Executive Body) were conducted in August 2007 and new Shurah council has been elected.
The election took place at the Islamic Center of Irving, 2555 Esters Road, Irving Texas. It was conducted by two outside members of the community, Br Azhar Azeez, member of ISNA executive council, Br Naveed Uddin and Br Shakib.
Br Khalid Zaatreh was chosen as the seventh member of the Shurah Council, as the ISNA representative, by the six newly elected members of the Islamic Center of Irving.
