Mathematics is a living discipline and a language of technology. It equips pupil with a uniquely powerful set of tools to understand and change the world. These tools include logical reasoning, problem-solving skills, and the ability to think in abstract ways. Mathematics is important in everyday life, like in many forms of employments, science and technology, medicine, the economy, the environment and development, and in public decision making etc. Mathematics is very important in getting a variety of good jobs, where the employers are looking for candidates with strong skills in problem solving. It provides us with powerful theoretical and computational techniques to advance our understanding of the modern world and societal problems, and to develop and manage the technology in the industries that are the backbone of the economy.

As we know; due to poor in Mathematics, most of the public school students are poor in logical reasoning and problem-solving skills. Being an Islamic center in the DFW community, ICI is concerned about the future of our children and their intellectual growth. Therefore, we have decided to provide an atmosphere where our children can learn and enhance their mathematical skills. With the strong mathematical skills, they can face the competition in the society. For this great cause, the Islamic Center of Irving is dedicated for the development of our next generation with well-balanced, knowledgeable Muslim adults, who can positively connect with the society at large. Our main aim is to increase pupil confidence in maths, so they are able to express themselves and their ideas using the language of maths with assurance.

Insha Allah the mathematics classes will be taken by dedicated and qualified teachers. Alhamdulillah three sisters of our community with strong educational background with strong skills in mathematics and holding Masters Degrees have come forward to teach mathematics to our community children. Mathematics classes will be offered during weekends, so that our children can attend easily without any conflict with their regular school schedule. The classes will be offered on a nominal tuition fee in order to meet expenses to conduct the classes.
