1) Vision

ICI Youth committee vision is giving roots, nurturing, and establishing organized and efficient, movement oriented, Islamic work amongst all segments of Muslim youth based on the comprehensive understanding of Islam.

2) Mission Statement

To develop committed Muslim youth capable of spreading and giving root to the comprehensive understanding of Islam, and to prepare them to be at the forefront in the development of our community.

3) Strategy

To adopt the strategy of focusing on human resource development in two arenas:
   1. Recruitment and tarbiya of a core cadre of youth.
   2. Training and development of youth workers.

4) Goals for the Year

   1. Continue the process of establishing the foundation of a core youth group.
   2. Build on the momentum from last year by establishing appropriate activities as annual traditions, and by continuing some of the activities that were unfinished in the last year.
   3. Provide resources & programs to attract youth of the desired caliber, and to assist in their development.
   4. Provide resources and programs to raise the caliber of ICI youth workers and to do so particularly for groups that are under-utilized in the arena of youth work (e.g. sisters, scholars).
