Terms and Conditions

  • Members with expiration date on or before 3rd Saturday in October need to renew on time to keep eligibility as candidate
  • Members have 30 days from their membership expiration date to renew their membership and to be considered as a continuing member for eligibility to vote as well as stand for election as a Shura Body candidate
  • Only members of the Islamic Center of Irving who reside within the following zip
    codes: 75060, 75062, 75061, 75038, and 75039 (hereinafter referred to as the
    “Eligible Zip Codes”) shall be recognized as “Voting Members” for purposes of
    participating in elections for the Shura Body and voting on constitutional
    amendments. Eligibility to stand as a candidate for the Shura Body shall likewise
    be limited to individuals residing within the Eligible Zip Codes.
  • To be eligible to participate in any vote concerning a constitutional amendment, a Voting
    Member must have maintained membership in good standing for a continuous period of
    no less than twelve (12) months immediately preceding the date of such vote.
  • For voting eligibility member needs to have minimum 6 months active membership prior to the election month October. For candidate eligibility member needs to have 1 year active membership.
